Club welcomes 'The Specials' for winning national title

The CAB congratulates the Sports Club ‘The Specials’ for winning the National Basketball Cup ‘3×3’ with ‘Down Syndrome’. The trophy was played in the city of Coimbra and ended with the conquest of the Madeiran team, on December 3, coincidentally the International Day of the Disabled. The victory of 'The Specials' occurred after she won the game against the 'Look 21' team for the result of 38-8 and also the game against the APPACDM-Coimbra team, this for the result of 46-3. ‘The Specials’ then played the final against the ‘Myst21’, winning by 28-7. The athletes Ricardo Santos, Roberto Pacheco, Hélder Ornelas, Dúlio Aguiar, Pedro Silva and Francisco Gouveia were present. The CAB congratulates the champion athletes, as well as all the people who work daily with the group, including their coaches, to achieve this success and provide, through Basketball, greater integration of players into society.
