Pais and Chikigentil Club hold hands for the most needy

On September 28th, a Saturday, between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., the CAB Country Club will once again organize a Solidarity Tea, this time with the help of Chickigentil Madeira, our institutional partner. The aim of this initiative, in addition to promoting interaction between people who make helping others a priority, is to raise food that will be delivered to families who are going through a difficult time. The event will take place in the area of our Country Club, on the second floor of the Pavilion. As is well known, the economic difficulties affecting the country and the region in general are forcing many families to make difficult choices and to face very large obstacles. There are many cases of need, which increase every day. Because our duty is to help those who need hope most and to return hope to people who, for so many reasons, may have lost it, we make a sincere appeal to them to join us and help us to kill hunger and to make the hearts of families who are less happy today. For those who are interested in helping, we ask you to contribute with foods that are not easily degradable, so that we have time to deliver them to people. Food can be brought to the Solid Tea or delivered to the CAB Secretariat, located in the CAB Pavilion, on Rua do Curacao, in Nazaré neighborhood. From now on, we express our 'Thank you!' meaning to all who collaborate, because they show that, despite all difficulties, there can and must always be time and willingness to give a little of ourselves to others.
