CAB and 'Winning Autism' have just celebrated a collaboration partnership. This union, which puts Friends on the front line of support for individuals and families affected by autism, will result in the placement of the Association logo on the back of our Women's Team's jersey. In addition, the CAB will also collaborate with the Association Winning Autism in establishing contacts with congenial associations and institutions in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. In return, the 'Winner Autism' will support the CAB in the financial challenges inherent in its sporting activity. The Association Winning Autism aims to help autistic parents and children, providing information, means and therapeutic and psychological support to all those who, directly or indirectly, live with people with this already considered “epidemic” of the 21st century. The Association now has an active presence and has already taken important steps in the recovery of these children. The aim is to bring success to more and more families. Having several founders/associates who deal daily with autistic children, the Association Win Autism understands the difficulties and psychological pressure that parents, family members and the very carriers of this symptomatology are targeted. The organization knows well that the evolution of these children, with a view to a free and independent life, is possible, so believe in the help they can give to so many families that, for one reason or another, have not yet obtained access and support to existing information and therapies. For Francisco Gomes, president of the CAB, the new partnership between the club of Nazaré and the Association Winning Autism, "is a pioneering step at the level of Regional Sport, because it is the first time that a reference institution of Madeiran sports environment gives hands so clearly to a cause that today affects dozens of families in our region." According to the CAB leader, "This club is proud to be an institution associated with noble causes. The link with 'Winning Autism' is another step in that direction and another expression of our belief that Sport only makes sense when it is placed at the service of the Society and of all those who form it, regardless of its physical or psychic condition."
