Despite sports holidays, the CAB does not stop and is associated with yet another initiative of solidarity. As it is already a brand of the club of Nazareth, the Friends give hands to the zumba instructors of Madeira and, together, will be hosts of a zumba mega-class whose recipe reverts in favor of the treatment of the boy David. David Freitas is only eight years old, and in February he was diagnosed with malignant head cancer, more precisely in the cerebellum area. Immediately a treatment was started in the health service of the Region, which continues. The parents of young David, Veronica and Hélder Freitas, intend to maintain the treatment already started, but intend to experience an alternative therapy, since the expectation of healing with the current treatment is greatly reduced. However, for this they need financial help from those who can contribute. The treatment to which they intend to submit the boy David is only carried out in Belgium and Germany. But in David's case, it can only be done in Germany. Veronica Freitas works in a construction material manufacturing company and Hélder Freitas is safe. They say that they do not have the money necessary for the implementation of the treatment, which should amount to at least EUR 25 000. It is to help achieve this value that the CAB joins efforts with the zumba instructors for a solidarity event in which it does not matter whether or not we know how to dance. What really matters is the willingness to help those who need it most. The zumba mega-class will be on 11 August, a Sunday, from 6 p.m. on the CAB Pavilion. The ticket cost is 5 euros, and tickets can be purchased from the zumba instructors themselves or at the reception of the Vida Health Club gym. FAMILY CAB invites everyone to join this initiative and contribute to an important cause!
