Club-Family integrates initiative with Minibasket tournament

The CAB will participate actively in the Sports Weekend of San Martin. The initiative, which takes place on 26 and 27 of this month (a Saturday and Sunday) aims to promote the parish of São Martinho as a dynamic area and attentive to the sporting reality that lives within the demographic limits of the parish. In this sense, the CAB will participate in organizing a Minibasket tournament that is open to all stakeholders, born in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. On Saturday, the 26th, those born in those years can go to the CAB Pavilion and, completely free of charge, play basketball under the guidance and supervision of the coaches of the Friends Training Schools of the Basketball. The tournament starts at 9:00 and runs until 12:00. According to Albino Barbara, Coordinator of the CAB Minibasket, the event is "a good opportunity for all interested to get to know better the CAB Training Schools and the work we do in the level of sports and human preparation of younger generations." On the other hand, Faby Ortega, Logistics Coordinator of the Minis of the CAB, states that the tournament will be "very fun, as well as a moment of interaction of federated and non-federated children who share the passion for basketball." Therefore, all interested parties are invited to join the tournament being organised by the CAB and to participate in what is expected to be a basketball party. The doors are open, as always!
