Club-Family again fills the basketball Sea Square

On April 25, the FAMILY CAB again organizes a street basketball tournament. The event will take place in Praça do Mar, right in the centre of Funchal, and will allow teams of three elements to measure forces, having as background the beautiful Madeirense coast. The initiative is open to all stakeholders, federated and non-federated, whether they are CAB players or not. According to the information released by the Club, the tournament will include the age classes of sub-8, sub-10, sub-12, sub-14, sub-16, seniors and veterans. The ranks are all mixed, and to compete, all teams must have at least one female athlete. Those interested in participating must complete the Registration Form (available on the club's Facebook profile) and deliver it to the trainers or Training Coordinators (Faby, Faty and João Pedro). The cost of participation is €1 per athlete. The amount reverts to the tournament prizes, which are t-shirts for the winning teams. In addition to sport, the ‘CAB Streetball’ will function as a family meeting, as it is, in fact, the host of CAB events. Around the games, the various teams of the Club will be managing small stalls of ‘eats and babies’ and official clothing, which aim to raise funds for the institution. Adding to this, there will be a lot of music, cheering up the day of the many who will join this basketball party. What are you waiting for? Make your team and join the party!
