Club organizes competition moment for younger Friends

This weekend, the Minis echelons will participate in an internal competition tournament. The event, which is supported by the 'Sports Vintage' restaurant, aims to be another moment for the younger Friends to test their skills and test the technical-tactical knowledge they have acquired throughout their training process. The games will take place on Friday, for the Mini-12 echelon, and on Saturday, for the Mini-8 echelons and Mini-10. The time of the games will coincide with the normal training schedule in order not to harm the logistics of the families of the athletes involved. The winners of each rank will win allusive medals to the event in recognition of their winning effort and attitude. The prizes will be delivered after the games of each step. In statements to the Official CAB Site, Faby Ortelá, Coordinator of the Minibasket, praised the club's initiative, noting, "It is important that players of all ages, including in the Minis echelons, have moments of competition, because they help the athletes' sports evolution and sensitize us to realities that do not always arise in training." For the coach, "Although we're talking about a small event, I believe it has its value and that the athletes will do their best. It is important not to forget that it is also through this type of initiatives that we cultivate the passion for the sport and believe that, in this regard, the mini tournament is already a victory of all and an example of the dynamism of the CAB FAMILY."
