On Monday 25 March, the CAB will promote training in the area of first aid. The initiative will take place at 7 p.m. in the CAB Pavilion, and access is free. The Club invites the entire FAMILY CAB, from athletes and heads of education to employees and coaches, as well as all people who are interested in this theme, to attend the training, regardless of whether they are connected to the CAB and basketball. This first-aid training action aims to provide participants with the knowledge necessary for a rapid and effective approach to physical emergency situations, such as cardiorespiratory arrest cases. The primary objective and to provide those who take part in the knowledge event necessary to address emergency situations in order to avoid worsening the health status of those affected. Undoubtedly, useful and necessary knowledge for everyone, whether or not to engage in sports. "The first aid training action is the continuity of the CAB's training role, but this is done in the form of an initiative aimed at a wider public," said Francisco Gomes, president of the CAB. "I believe that knowing how to respond to emergency medical situations is an essential knowledge for all of us, regardless of whether we are athletes or not. We never know when we will be called to respond to a risky situation, and when and if that happens, it is important to be prepared," concluded the leader of Friends.
