ABM competition confirms the quality of CAB Training

Last weekend, the Rui Adrião Cup was contested, a competition of the Madeira Basketball Association that honors a former president of that institution who made a great contribution to regional basketball. The trophy confirmed the quality of the work developed by the Friends' training schools, which raised the vast majority of the trophies in dispute. Case to say the Rui Adrião Cup was dressed in red and white. After the accounts, the CAB won the titles in the mini-8, mini-10 male, mini-12 male, mini-12 female, sub-14 male and sub-14 female ranks. The party, this, belonged to the heroes 'in the span and a half' who, motivated by the passion for basketball, filled the games and the event with joy and enthusiasm. It should also be noted the presence of dozens of families of players from all the clubs involved, who made the Rui Adrião Cup a real meeting of basketball families. According to the head of the CAB, "The CAB is, in essence, a forming club. Our main goal is to use basketball as a teacher of life. We don't live obsessed with victories and respect everyone, whether we win or lose. But, of course, it is always good to win because it indicates that the 'walker' is being done well and that all those involved in the training process - athletes, coaches, fathers and mothers - are managing to convey to the younger a message of work and humility, values without which it is impossible to win."
