The women's CAB team received the team from Ovarense. In the previous journey, the CAB surpassed the formation of Vagos, while Ovar's lost the formation of Lombos. Regardless of these circumstances, both teams played the game with the will to win, so a good basketball match was anticipated. The game began best for the formation of the house, which entered with a very aggressive defense, as is its characteristic. From the defense, the Madeirans managed to build effective attacks, which, in turn, gave rise to the 21-10 advantage, with which they won the end of the first period. In the second period, the CAB domain in the match was accentuated. Once again, the defense of the house team was the determining factor, as it allowed visitors to score only six points in the second 10 minutes of play. In the attack, the effectiveness of the CAB was also superior, not only in the outside game, but also in the areas near the basket, leading the Friends to score 20 points. Thus, the interval arrived with the marker in 41-16, in favor of the CAB. By the house, the right ones were Filipa Bernardeco and Inês Ajanovic (with 7 points each), while the most unconformed were Pinheiro and Raimundo (5 points each). After the break, the friends were not as well as they had been in the first two periods. The CAB intensity level decreased and the defense was less efficient, allowing Ovarense to score 16 points. Still, the CAB reached the end of the third period ahead by 52-32. In the fourth half, the CAB was better than in the previous period and again dominated the course of events. Ovarense always fought and was a team with courage and determination. However, the victory of the CAB was never at risk, ending up with the result of 75-47. A final note to mark the debut in the Carolina Henriques League games, which eventually contributed to the 5 point score. A very positive start to a promise coming from the CAB's training ranks and now taking bigger steps in your sports career.
