Defeat with the Academic so-called away playoff

The formation of the CAB/CSM, the club's satellite team in the women's sector, was today removed from the playoffs of the I Women's Division with a defeat against the Academic for the result of 90-39. The expressive result reveals the difference between the two teams, as the Academic is a training to fight for the climb to the Women's League, while the CAB is a training team whose main objective is to prepare athletes to, in the medium term, join the female senior team of Friends of the Basketball. The removal of the CAB/CSM team from the playoff is neither a sign of defeat nor a reason for any dismotivation. Throughout the period, athletes who make up the team have shown great growth and matured, both in their approach to games and in their competitive posture. Congratulations to the athletes, their trainer, Ricardo Montes, and also to the education officers of the players who participated - and participate - in the training process of this group.
