This Saturday, the men's staff of the CAB have a difficult journey to the north of the country to face Porto. In addition to the problems posed by the opponent's quality, Friends have to deal with other setbacks, namely the fact that their player Fábio Lima, one of the team's main references, is away from the competition due to a knee injury. Furthermore, the CAB cannot count on Carlos Bettencourt, also injured on the knee, and Michael L’Africain, who has contracted a virus and cannot make his contribution. So it will be a very conditioned CAB that will measure forces with the (theoretically favorite) Port. Even so, to the CAB Official Site, Diogo Gameiro gives voice to the irreverence of the Madeirenses, projecting the game as follows: “Let’s face this weekend’s game as we have seen all games so far, that is, seriously, determined, demanding, focused and optimistic.” “Oporto has a quality squad, has players able to unbalance in the attack. However, I think they are worth more for their collective and for the organization at an offensive and defensive level.” “As usual, we have prepared this game in detail, studying the opponent well, and, despite being a team that has a good level and is going through a good phase, it naturally boasts some gaps and that’s where we will try to make the most of ourselves.” “It’s going to be a pretty intense game, in which both teams will want to be victorious to rise in the ranking. There are no invincible teams, and Porto is proof of that, and so we will go to the game this weekend with the only possible thought: win.”
