João Paulo Silva, João Freitas and Gilva Alves will be responsible for the CAB Training Schools for the 2016-2017 period. More specifically, João Paulo Silva will guide the Male Sector (in particular, sub-14M, sub-16M and sub-24M), while João Freitas will coordinate the Female Sector (in particular, sub-14F, sub-16F and sub-24F) and Gilda Alves will lead the Minibasket sector (in particular, Baby, Mini-8, Mini-10 and Mini-12) of Friends of the Basketball. In order to speed up communication between the different levels and reconcile the training and gambling models of each of them with the club's training objectives and the needs of senior teams, the Board's choices have been made by technicians with extensive training experience and with evidence given in the many missions they have taken over the years. The Directorate, in dialogue with the Coordinators, also indicated Bino Barbara for the functions of Logistic Coordinator, a role that will take place in a logic of direct support to the Technical Coordinators, thus contributing to the realization of the Activity Plan prepared by the Coordinators, in partnership with the Club Board. In statements to the CAB’s Official Sire, Francisco Gomes, chairman of the Board, noted: "Coordination is always one of the most critical aspects of Training. For the next year, the Directorate's choices have fallen on people who have the experience, knowledge and motivation to raise the quality of the work of the younger layers. We trust that Juca, João, Gilda and Bino will live up to this responsibility, which is also a great challenge." Soon, for the knowledge of the entire club, the Coordinators will announce the Activity Plan for the 2016-2017 season, which is being finalized and summarizes the initiatives that the Coordination is proposing to take at the level of the training classes during the new sports year.
