The Directorate of the CAB has finalised the new model of training organization, which will come into force by 2015-2016. The aim of the new model is to make clear the responsibilities of each training staff so that everyone can know the tasks under their responsibility and give a more effective response to them. In addition, the new model also sets out clear lines of communication and hierarchy between the different levels of training and clear fields of action. This, in turn, will allow for a more coordinated functioning of a sector that is fundamental to the life of the club. According to the model, there are two reference figures in the Formation, which are the Supervisors. There will be one for the Female Sector (João Pedro Vieira) and one for the Male Sector (João Paulo Silva). Supervisors are responsible for defining the concepts and models of training and gambling that should guide the functioning of the Training teams so that this operation is in line with the objectives set for the Training echelons and also with the objectives and needs of senior teams. The Supervisors are in constant coordination as Technical Coordinator (Carlos Sousa) who is the central figure of the Coordination and is responsible for several tasks, including, for example, following training and games of the Training echelons, ensuring dialogue between the different training echelons, approving all the climbs, determining the integration of athletes of senior planters in the ‘B’ teams and carrying out Training Actions (‘Mini-Clinics’) for the coaches of the club. The work of the Technical Coordinator is assisted by the Logistic Coordinator (Carolina Escortius), who has a number of equally important responsibilities for the operation of the Training, including, for example, the recruitment of athletes for the club's Training Schools, defining the visits of senior teams to schools and social institutions, coordinating the sports activities carried out by the club (such as the ‘CAB Streetball 3x3’, ‘CAB All-Star’ and ‘Liga CAB’) and organizing, in collaboration with the Country Club, the calendars of edible sales in the games at home of the senior teams. The Minibasket will also use a Technical Coordinator (Bino Barbara) and a Logistics Coordinator (Faby Ortega), whose responsibilities are similar to those of the General Technical Coordinator and the General Logistics Coordinator. However, its field of action is limited to the Minibasket and its entire activity will always be developed in partnership with the General Technical Coordinator and the General Logistics Coordinator. Under the supervision and guidance of the Technical Coordinators and Logistic Coordinators will work the Coaches of the various classes, whose responsibilities include, for example, guiding training and games of the Training echelons in accordance with the training programs and gambling systems defined by the Technical Coordinator, identifying those in charge of education with the availability and motivation to assume the responsibility of Padrinho/Madrinha of the team and developing, in partnership with those in charge of education, initiatives aimed at raising funds to support possible stakeholder participations in national competitions, which will be implemented after the approval of the Logistic Coordinator. Documents provide more detailed explanation In the documents attached to this news (below) a more detailed explanation is offered of the various responsibilities of each of the training staff, which are made available here for free consultation of all interested parties.
