The men's team of the CAB fulfilled their second game of the double journey that they held outside doors, facing Maya's team this time. The game was faced with great difficulty, not only due to the tiredness that the Friends already brought from the game of the previous day, but also due to the quality of the Maya, which is holding a positive time. The game began best for continental formation, which won the first period by 23-21. Those of the house benefited from the great inspiration of Nuno Marçal, a true motor of the offensive motivation of the Maya, as well as a great attitude in the chapter of the caveats. The Madeirans were also demonstrating a great group spirit, even though small defensive failures were allowing the opponent to make baskets in prohibitive zones. In the second period, the CAB pulled from the ‘monkey suit’ and entered with a much better defensive attitude than had been the case in the first part. The Madeirans forced Maia to make several shots under pressure and commit a number of ball losses. The good defensive performance allowed the CAB to approach the attacks with greater confidence and serenity, leading those commanded by João Paulo Silva to move ahead of the marker and reach the interval to win by 34-38. At this stage of the meeting, Jovonni Schuler (15) and Jordan Aaron (8) were the main offensive references of the CAB. On the Maia side, the right ones were Nuno Marçal (15) and Pedro Catarino (10). On the return to the game, the CAB was determined to extend the punctual distance from Maia. The aggressiveness of Friends in the attack and defense was notorious, and after seven minutes of play, the scorer already scored 41-58, in favor of visitors. By the end of the third quarter, the CAB continued to master the pace of play, reaching the end of the half-hour game to win by 42-58. In the fourth period, the CAB continued the full offensive that it had demonstrated since the second period and it was the house that began to show signs of some physical fatigue. On the Friends side, the offensive movements appeared with fluidity and naturality, also based on a very solid defensive provision. Already on the Maia side, the releases were being less judicious that had been at the beginning of the meeting, as well as the presence in the chapter of the caveats, where the CAB was also taking advantage. When the meeting was five minutes away, the scorer accused 50-67 in favor of the Madeira team. Then there was a period of greater relaxation on the part of the CAB, which corresponded to a slight punctual descent of the Maia, but without ever questioning the victory of the visitors, which came to be recorded by the result of 61-72. In individual terms: Jordan Aaron (18), Jose Correia (2), Stefan Djukic (6), Jovoni Schuler (25), Jorge Coelho (7), Frederico Tavares (3) and Tommie Eddie (11).
