Final Four pairings determined on Friday

The Portuguese Basketball Federation (FPB) determined that the draw of the games of the 'Final Four' of the Portuguese Cup will be held next Friday, February 27, at 6:30 p.m., in Funchal. In a gesture of great sympathy and consideration for the Association of Basketball of Madeira, which is leading the organization of the event, the FPB agreed that the draw of the final phase of the event would be held in Funchal, a city that will host the event on 7 and 8 March Thus, the luck of the four teams that are cleared for the 'Final Four' – Quinta dos Lombos, Boa Viagem, União Sportiva and CAB - will be known by the end of this week. Then they will know who will play against whom in the two semifinals to compete on Saturday. The winning teams of these two games will measure strength the following day, Sunday, to determine who will be the new holder of the Portuguese Cup in women's basketball. The draw will be held in the Conference Room of the Hotel Baía Azul, an institution that once again was associated with the organization of the Final Four.
