Men's Team made the delight of dozens of students

This morning's visit of the CAB professionals to the Horace Benedict School of Gouveia was a success. Friends took part in a number of activities that served to promote the sport and to talk about the club's Training Mission. The good disposition reigned, much fruit of the enormous availability and motivation of the athletes of the CAB team to include the children and young people present in the activities and to establish with them and they a bond of true complicity and companionship. One of the highlights of the visit was the interaction of Friends of the Basketball with the School's Special Education Center, which resulted in an enormous joy of the students to be close to the 'giants' of basketball. The visit of the CAB to the Horace Benedict School also laid the foundations for a protocol to be celebrated very soon between the institution and the club, providing for closer collaboration between the two organizations. To the CAB's Official Website, João Paulo Silva, coach of the male team, commented as follows the visit: “With much joy. It was the way the CAB Madeira professional team was received at Dr. Horácio Bento de Gouveia school. The exchange between the two institutions has happened a few times and has always been a success, not only because of the way the school organizes the activity, but also because this is a school where we want to encourage its students to be CAB athletes.” “The players demonstrated some of the fundamentals of the game, and had the opportunity to participate together with the students in reduced game situations and technical improvement exercises. Reserved for the final part we had the interaction between students and athletes, where we fulfilled the usual request of the autographs of CAB stars. We also take this opportunity to encourage the students of the school to be present in the game of next Saturday in front of Algés, at 3:30 pm.
