The men's team of the CAB moved to the Azores to face the formation of Lusitania, a team that is making a very positive season, having lost, at home, only with the formations of Barcelos and Benfica. The task was very difficult for those commanded by João Paulo Silva, who did not start the match well, because they lost the first period by the result of 18-17. In the second period, the CAB appeared much more aggressive, not only covering the way to the basket of the home team, but also demonstrating great understanding in the offensive tasks, especially the Aaron Jordan base and the Tommie Eddie pole, which together were responsible for 28 of the points noted by the Madeirans. After a partial of 10-23 in the second half, the CAB reached the interval ahead for 28-40. In the third period, Lusitania had better, winning the partial by 15-11 and placing the result, at the end of thirty minutes of play, in 43-51. The house team showed clear signs that they wanted to overcome the bad replica they had given in the second half and take the Madeirans from losers. The question was whether the CAB would yield to the pressure of the Azoreans or, on the contrary, would be able to put up with the effort to the end. In the final period, the household's assault continued, which reduced the punctual difference to two points. Enthusiastic with his ascendant, Lusitania did everything to achieve victory, yet on the other side he found a team full of character, which grows every day, who is a fighter and who would not let victory escape. With great capacity for suffering and surrender, the CAB endured the pressure and confirmed the victory, deserved and meritorious, by 62-67. In individual terms: Aaron Jordan (23 points, 5 assists), José Correia (3 points, 2 points), Tommie Eddie (21 points, 9 points), Stefan Djukic (6 points, 4 points), Jovonni Schuler (9 points, 7 points), Frederico Tavares (5 points), Nuno Pedroso (1 ball robbery, 1 assist).
