Event brings together brightest stars of the Formation of Friends

On 26 June, starting at 7pm, the CAB will organise its All-Star. The initiative will bring together a number of events, including the All-Star Game, Three Point Contest and Free Lance Contest. The Mini-Stars Game will also be integrated into the event, which will bring together the brightest stars of our Minis echelons. As for the All-Star Game, it will be played by two teams – the Red Team and the White Team – that bring together the best athletes from the Sub-14, Sub-16 and Senior-B teams. These are being selected by the coaches of each rank. The same coaches will also choose the players who will take part in each of the three scheduled competitions, namely Three Points and Free Lances. In the case of the Mini Stars Game, it will also be played by two teams, and the selection of participating athletes is also being made by the coaches responsible for each team. At the end of the games, and as has been done in previous years, the club will distinguish the people who stood out most in the 2014-2015 season, namely Partner of the Year, Collaborator of the Year, Adept of the Year and Coach of the Year. These distinctions are attributed by the club's board after analysis of the time held by all training classes. There will also be prizes for the winners of each competition, as well as for the All-Star Game winners. Participants in each event will receive a t-shirt alluding to the occasion. The All-Star will be followed by a popular Santos Supper, organized by the CAB Country Club. In addition to the camaraderie and good disposition that are a constant in all the convivialities of the CAB FAMILY, the dinner will have the presence of the traditional marches of Santos Populares, this time coming from the parish of Santo António.
