The female CAB team is still holding hands with the injuries, such is the number of physical problems that have affected the squad. This time, neither the technical team was exempt, because it was Canadian (which transmission antennas into the field...) that João Freitas, the main coach, guided, from the sideline, the Amigas in a significant victory over Sportiva (51-87) and saw his team perform the one that was, without a doubt, their best exhibition of the time. The game began best for the CAB, which won the first period by 12-25. Fundamental to the superiority of friends at this stage of the meeting was their defensive posture, which managed to cover the paths to the basket at their guard. In the attack, the exterior game of the Amigas constituted a strong headache for the Azoreans, who failed to cover the Madeiran pitchers. In the second half, Sportiva was slightly better, as demonstrated by its partial victory (21-18). However, the CAB domain was never in question and the Friends went to the interval to be won by 33-43, a fair result that reflected the good performance of the CAB within the field, as well as the offensive versatility of their team, proven by the fact that there were several players who were contributing to the scoring of points. The third half returned to the CAB and the result of 11-24. While it is true that in the minutes just after the break, the Azoreans showed a great turn to take over the reins of the match, it is no less true that the response of the CAB was extremely effective, with the Friends making use of their arguments and taking it to the best over the opponents. So after half an hour of play, the CAB was leading 44-67. The fourth and final period was truly demolishing from the CAB, which won the partial by 7-20. Both in the chapter of the outside launch, both in the nearest areas of the basket, and in the defense and rebound, the CAB has shown that it is capable of playing a high-level basketball, and, when it is, it ends up imposing itself with naturality and merit. This is what happened, with the punctual advantage of Madeirans over the Azoreans to take very expressive contours. At the end of the game, the thirty-six points (51-87) victory demonstrated the great quality of the CAB game and also an atypical Sportiva afternoon that was well explored by Madeirans. The CAB is back to play tomorrow, this time against the Good Journey, which will be another demanding game for the Friends. The CAB's Official Website wishes both our ladies and the technical team that leads them all the success and welcomes the entire working group for today's beautiful victory and the exhibition that makes us dream. Thanks!
