It is already next weekend that the CAB Pavilion hosts the Final Four, i.e. the finals of the Portuguese Cup in women's basketball. The event, which follows an application from the Madeira Basketball Association to organize the event in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, will bring to Funchal the four teams cleared to compete for the most charismatic trophy of national basketball, namely Boa Viagem, União Sportiva, Vagos and CAB, Club collaborator of Final Four. According to the data already released by the Organization of the Final Four, the final half-finals will be played on Saturday, 8 March, 3 p.m. (CAB vs Sportive Union) and 5 p.m. (Good Travel vs Vagos). Taking advantage of the presence in Madeira of some of the best teams and the best national technicians, the organizers will also promote two 'clinics' (training actions), one directed to basketball coaches and the other directed to the arbitrators of the sport. Participation in them is also free and open to all interested parties. To brighten the party, the teams that take part in the Final Four will bring from their regions of origin typical food, which, during the Final Four, will be exposed and shared by the agents who will take part in the finals, namely leaders, athletes, coaches and members of the organization. In a reissue of an initiative already carried out elsewhere in women's basketball, the Organization intends to add competition to the pleasant tasting of various products that are also cultural wealth of the areas of the country represented in this Final Four. Assets will also be athletes from CAB Minibasket Schools, the Organization's collaborator club. The youngest stars of Friends of the Basketball will not only enter with athletes in all games, during the presentation of the teams, but will also fill the intervals of the games with games and moments of display of basketball expertise. It's a matter of saying that the whole club, from the youngest to the oldest, will be at a party! So next weekend, all roads will lead to the CAB Pavilion. The Final Four puts Madeira back on the course of major national basketball decisions and this unique opportunity should be taken by all followers of the modality to witness, live, the best of Portuguese female basketball. Don't miss it! Join the party!
