The new physical therapist at the CAB is Monica Corte and is 24 years old. Having completed its training in the field of physical therapy, Mónica governed Madeira to begin its professional career, which has the first step in the CAB. In conversation with the Club's Official Website, Monica talks about her passion for physiotherapy and her expectations of her experience at the CAB What made you want to be a physical therapist? At the time I had to choose the academic path to follow I decided to choose an area where I could use knowledge to bring better quality of life to people. What are the most positive and least positive aspects of your career? Being able to be in direct contact with the people we treat and being able to follow their evolution in a near way are undoubtedly the most positive aspects. Unfortunately, the area of Physical Therapy is not as well recognized in Portugal as it is abroad and it is very difficult to find a good job in the area of rehabilitation (mainly for the newly graduated). Most of the colleagues I know or work in precarious conditions or have decided to leave the country in search of a better future. What was the first idea you registered with the CAB? A place with a lot of energy hovering in the air. Is it easy to be a physiotherapist in a house with almost 300 players? My journey has just begun, but many guys have passed through the physiotherapy office! I think that with everyone's effort and teamwork it is possible to make the impossible attainable. What do you expect from your working time at the CAB? I hope I can help the club members achieve their goals. I know I'm gonna learn a lot from each and every one of you, and I hope to be a valuable asset to the CAB.
