The Board of Directors of the CAB has just announced the renewal of Jorge Coelho's contract. The experienced Portuguese post 2.00 meters high, will thus fulfill its fifth consecutive season in the service of Friends, the maximum seniority in the group of athletes who will represent the CAB in the 2014-2015 period. In addition to his indisputable athletic, technical and tactical added value, Jorge Coelho is one of the most cherished CAB athletes by CAB supporters, being recognized as a symbol of the team. The pole, which, year after year, has played a key role in the offensive and defensive movements of the club of Nazareth, also plays an important leading role within the field and in the locker room, as it is a voice very respected by all colleagues. In statements to the CAB's Official Site, João Paulo Silva ('Juca') commented on the renewal of Jorge Coelho, noting, "The Jorge Coelho is one of the most experienced athletes of the Portuguese League. In addition to its well-known technical and tactical capabilities, it is an element with great leadership capacity, contributing to the team's ability to maintain a working climate suitable for good sports performance." According to CAB's coach, "George knows the club perfectly and is already considered as a player of the house, which for me, as a coach, will naturally be an asset for the integration of new players. I am convinced that Jorge will have a decisive role in this period in the CAB." Also returning to the CAB is Frederico Tavares, a young extreme of 1.94 meters tall and 26 years tall. Frederico did his basketball training at the CAB, but has a resume that includes tickets to clubs such as Atlético, Queluz, Lusitania and Terceira. This will be the third season in service of the Madeiran club, but the second consecutive.
