The Sub-14 Team Females faced Benfica's training in what was the last game in the participation of friends in the National Championship of Sub-14. A participation that, if you like, was brilliant at all levels. Throughout all the games played, CAB players demonstrated a lot of competence, a lot of delivery, a lot of value, a lot of intensity and a spirit of determination that demonstrates a maturity far beyond their age. Undoubtedly, the club is worthy of this National Championship, at all levels, because this group of players demonstrated, beyond any shadow of doubt, that they are basketball players of great caliber. "What doesn't kill us makes us stronger." And we are sure that the difficulties, the disagreements and the setbacks our players encountered in this National Championship will make them even stronger players and even more prepared for the ups and downs of the competition. Against Benfica, the first period ended with a tie, but in the second half, the excess of the CAB began to show itself. At the interval, the result was already 27-21 in favor of Madeirans. In the third period, the CAB retained its advantage over the Lisbons (39-35), however, in the last time, the young friends failed to defend the advantage and, by the minimum margin (44-45), saw the victory escape. In conclusion, the Official CAB Site leaves a word of gratitude to the team's coaches (Faty, Rafael and Davide), who have demonstrated great competence and leadership throughout the year and this National Championship. Without its ability to work, it would not have been possible for this team to grow and assert itself as a large group of players. A thank you, too, to the Education Officers, whose work throughout the year was essential so that the players could grow and enjoy the important opportunity to affirm their talent and their ability to work in the 'palco' of the National Championship. The team's success is also the success of the Education Officers and the reflection of their participation in the Training Process.
