Registration closed with hundreds of confirmed presences

Registration of non-regional teams for the CAB Tournament is now closed. The event, which runs from 1 to 7 July, will gather several hundred practitioners from different parts of the country at the CAB Pavlao. For this reason, a tournament is well played and there will be no shortage of quality games. According to the data released by the Tournament Organization at the time of registration, the following clubs had already confirmed their presence. Ovarense, Algés, SIMECQ, Gaia and Basket do Porto Santo. These clubs will join all regional teams that show interest in taking part in the tournament, as well as the host club, the CAB. In terms of the number of participants, it is already assured that we will have more than twice as many participants in last year's edition. More specifically, between athletes and companions, the Tournament Organization expects to gather around the event about five hundred presences. The logistics behind the event will be ensured by a team of volunteers, who will jointly form the famous CAB Tournament staff. At the moment, the Tournament Organisation is already working on the event's calendar of activities. Although the details are not yet all right, the CAB Official Site can now advance that it will include a street basketball tournament (3x3), a party night and a playful event in Funchal.
