This Saturday, the women's staff of the CAB measures forces with the Azorean team of the Good Journey. Friends want to ‘venge’ the defeat of the last weekend and thus ‘bring’ the clearance for the ‘Final Four’ of the Portuguese Cup, which is contested on 11 and 12 March. However, they will have to be at their best. To the CAB's Official Website, Coach João Freitas made the preview of the meeting. Here's your words: “The Good Journey is making a very good time. It is a team that has managed to assemble a set of players, which has had an impressive chemistry and has won many games precisely because of it. It reminds me, in the right proportions, of the Leicester of the English League last year. Without anyone giving anything for them, they have been able to control and win important games. and are second in rank.” “I think the coaches themselves are amazed at what the team is doing. Players who didn't give anything for them, but who together have been able to counter all prognosis. Two players in particular have had a very good time: Govan and Grazulis.” “We are aware of the importance of this game and know what we have to stop. We're preparing some mixed defenses to counteract the weight of these two players. But they all know what to do and the importance they have in the overall performance.” “We really want to be in the final phase of this Cup. It's one of the goals of the time. We're still working on a lot of condition. Joana, Catherine, Cynthia and Filipa haven't even trained. But if it affects our preparation, it does not affect our will.” “The team’s path has rarely been a constant evolution. However, we have proven that we can play well, presenting the concepts we want and playing the game we practice. More and more, we want to pass responsibility to the players. Before that happens, they have to be prepared. This is our course from the start of the competition.” “I take this opportunity to mention the need for the support of those following us. Our victories are the victories of all!”
