This weekend, CAB's Fmeinine Team participates in the Women's League Final Four. For the Amigas, it is the chance to win a title that 'runs' the club for over a decade. For this reason, those commended by João Freitas also seek a link in the History of Friends of the Basketball - History, which deserves, for its dimension and importance, another title of national champions. On the eve of the games, João Freitas, through the Official CAB Site, leaves his players a message felt and motivated. The coach of the Friends calls for the sense of sacrifice and surrender of 'his warriors', toasting them with words that touch. Here we reproduce in full the coach's text: “We are coming to the end of a long walk culminating with the presence in the ‘Final Four’ of the Women’s League. From an early age, we assumed to be the main goal of the time. It was two hundred and twenty workouts, many hours of effort, sweat and tears to get here. From the initial team we had two changes. Most of the group continues together, learning from each other and learning to adapt to coaches and coaches.” “At the moment we are playing a more adult basketball, more focused on readings, spaces and times of the game. It is, for us coaches, notorious improvement in our players' game quality. We all really want to win! There is nowhere in the world no player, no team, no coach who says he doesn't want to win. Now what's important is what we have to do to win. Never give up!” “But how? Making every ball possession the last. Making each game the last. See you next time. Knowing and having a clear sense of our role. Knowing and having a clear sense of what we can and cannot do. Then fight for every inch, every tenth of a second, for every possession of a ball, for every bounce. And look the other way and know that a colleague will be doing the same. And look aside and know that there will be a colleague able to sacrifice herself for me.” “So I’m sure we’ll win a long wanted trophy. And only then will we justify all the training, all the sweat and all the tears.” “A final word for my warriors. Let them do the best they can on you. They've been a fantastic group I'll always be proud to have trained. Let's do it!"
