Fruit of the excellent campaign held in the Second Phase of the season, the male CAB team enters the ‘playoff’ in the leadership of the ‘B’ Group of the Men's League. This means that the Friends will face the Benfica team in the first round of games, with the first two games of the ‘series’, played ‘at the best’ of five games, to be played in Lisbon, already on Saturday and Sunday. On the eve of the meeting, the CAB Official Site arrived to talk to João Paulo Silva, coach of the ‘our’ boys, and asked him for a preview of the games. Here's your words: “The best part of the season will begin. The ‘playoffs’ were considered the main goal for this period and, with the involvement of the entire team, we were able to achieve this goal.” “We will face one of the most competitive teams in this League. Benfica has a very balanced set of resources that allows for a very extensive and varied rotation. This, of course, poses a number of defensive and offensive challenges that can precisely counter Benfica’s best offensive solutions and, on the other hand, impose the offensive rhythm that has characterized us.” “We are now the team with the greatest capacity to realize the League and it is fundamentally in this chapter that we want to settle our game. In a qualifier to the best of five games, we wish to win three so that we can be present in the next round.” “We will support ambition in meeting this goal by using all our resources. Each should always contribute a little more in favor of collective rules. Therefore, we will certainly be at the level we want.” “Our team is determined to make things happen and never expect them to condition us in the actions foreseen in the plan. We will be together again (‘Together’) in this commitment.”
