João Paulo Silva and the Men's Team approach 2016 with renewed confidence

2016 arrived with a strengthened CAB and even more prepared to address the demanding challenges of the Professional League. The arrival of new players, to add to the quality of the existing squad, gives new encouragement to those commanded by João Paulo Silva and a renewed impulse to resume the so-desired path of victories. The official CAB website sat with the male team coach and talked about expectations and hopes for the second phase of the championship. Here we leave the record of this dialogue: What kind of CAB does the new year bring us? We will want, in a determined way, to make our pride in representing this club count. All athletes are committed to definitely turning the series of less positive results. Although there are new adaptations, it is no longer possible to maintain the set of verified results. Let's make our ambition for this new year count. Was going to the Winter Market positive or difficult? Hard, no doubt. However, I am confident that the new elements will be exemplary in how they can help the team return to good results. My conviction is enormous about the production of the team because we believe that our work will naturally be reflected positively in the games. What ideas guided the search for new reinforcements? Fundamentally at the level of leadership in the field. I sought to ensure with these new elements, essentially in the 1 base position, greater experience in the orientation of offensive aspects. On the other hand, it was clear the need to make our inner game more powerful, not only at the level of implementation, but also at the level of offensive and defensive objections. With the inclusion of these two elements, I think these conditions are met. What contribution can hired players make to the team? Our average achievement has decreased and we therefore need players with points marking as a characteristic. Creating a good dynamic between indoor and outdoor game is another of the advantages we want to guarantee with these new elements. The greater inner capacity will allow you to release players from the perimeter, thus creating better launch situations. Finally, we want to stabilize our work by creating a group of players who can value the team in their collective. As a coach, do you feel the conditions for working even better are met? Of course I do. We've been running since the start of the championship trying to form a group that can give us guarantees of good results. It has not yet been possible to reach this level. With this renewal, I believe we will form a cohesive and determined group to win games and put ourselves in a more comfortable position. Although we had maintained an exemplary dedication to the work carried out, the truth is that the team is going through a very delicate moment with regard to motivational aspects. We are believers in this new competitive phase and wish that with the new human conditions we will certainly grow. What message would you like to leave to CAB FAMILY for 2016? Who can always count on a team determined to give them good times, with good victories. We know that the greater adherence of our adherents is directly related to the team's achievements. However, we also want and believe that the greatest support of our associates will be a great motivation for all athletes to produce more and more. I am confident that 2016 will be an important registration for our Club. Come out!
