This weekend, the women's CAB team plays for the Victor Hugo Cup finals. After winning the formations of the Academic and Lousada in the qualifying phase, the Amigas now face the team of Quinta dos Lombos, a training that, during the summer, was considerably strengthened due to their participation at this time in European competitions. On the other side, and although the team is not yet complete, the CAB will present itself with ambition and willingness to win. To the CAB's Official Website, João Pedro, coach of the women's team, made the preview of the Saturday match, noting: "Even though the team is not one hundred percent, the CAB will perform in the field with great determination to win Quinta dos Lombos and reach the final of the Victor Hugo Cup. We're working on a daily basis to prepare a team that matches every trophy of the season. This, despite being a pre-season tournament, we also want to win it and it will be with this spirit that Saturday we will enter the field." In case of winning the formation of Lombos, the CAB will play, on Sunday, the Victor Hugo Cup final before the winner of the game between the Sportive Union and Vagos.
