At all times, women's CAB team titles are expected. This time is no exception and the group led by João Pedro Vieira has been holding a championship that, not being free from some ‘highs and lows’, is being competitive. With two titles it is in dispute – the Cup of Portugal and the Women’s League – the Friends look forward to the future with confidence, but above all, with the clear notion that only work and concentration, especially in the key moments of the time, will enable the working group to achieve the goals they so desire. The CAB's Official Site sat down for a brief conversation with Coach João Pedro on these and other topics of the staff's currentity. Here we record the conversation: Right now, the CAB is leading the Women's League. Is it possible to hold the position until the end of the Regular Phase? Of course we do, but we cannot, in any way, stray from our path, which is that of daily work to get first. At the moment, three teams share the first place and we know that Sportiva and GDESSA will still play with each other, which means that one of them will contract the third defeat and the other will be tied with us. We have an advantage over both if we don't lose by the end of the regular phase. It's very difficult, but it's not impossible. This year's team has good quality and has shown great unity. Does the CAB win the national title? We have an excellent squad and we have demonstrated in the regular phase that, because we are in first and only with two losses. Our main opponent is ourselves. When we can be consistent during the four periods of each game, it will be very difficult for someone to beat us. However, as happened to us in the finals of the Federation Cup, we cannot be distracted in any aspect of the game, because the other teams also work to win. The CAB is one of the four teams that will very soon compete in the Portuguese Cup. What spirit is the team preparing for this final phase? Fine ones are for winning. So, in our mind, we only think of winning the half-final so that we are, for the third consecutive year, competing in the final and winning the Cup of Portugal. We've already had a warning about losing the Federation Cup with GDESSA and of course we don't want to miss another final. But as I said, first we have to beat Olivais. What message would you like to leave the CAB FAMILY? Every time we play at home, come and support us. We work daily to win all the games and we really want to bring titles to our club.
