This weekend, the women's team plays a difficult double journey outside doors. On Saturday, the Amigas travel to Coimbra to face the Olivais and, on Sunday, make a climb further north to play against the Vagos. Undoubtedly, they will be games of great difficulty for the CAB, not only because of the weariness of having to travel and play on the same day, but also because of the accumulated tiredness that is carried from one game to another, which will require from the Madeirans an enormous spirit of overcoming. The CAB's Official Website reached the address of João Pedro Vieira, coach of the women's team, and asked him to comment on the upcoming games. Here we record your words: "On the last journey home, in front of GDESSA, our team demonstrated a huge cohesion and spirit of mutual help, because, even though the group was conditioned by the absence of influential players such as Scortius and Julie and others quite tired, this being the reflection of the load of the three games of the Federation Cup, the answer could not have been better." "The way the players who jumped out of the bank gave their contribution to the team was very important, which gives us good prospects for a rotation of players on a weekend where we will have two very difficult games, such as Olivais and Vagos." "Unfortunately, we must make a double journey, which always makes it difficult to prepare the game of the second day. We have a habit of planning the week of practice thinking about preparing the game on Saturday, but in this case, we won't have the time we like to plan the second game." "As for Olivais, we play with this team in the Federation Cup and, although we have won, we know it will not be easy, because it is a very well-organized team by a good coach, who mixes the experience of its bases with the irreverence of some young people of value and with a very interesting American." "The CAB cannot sleep in the shade of the banana tree, and if we want to continue in the first place, we must continue to work as we always do from day one, putting in the field the spirit of self-help in the defense and sharing in the attack the ball until the player reaches the best position, knowing whenever we want to take advantage of the characteristics of each of our players." "This is our spirit and, for the game with Vagos, we must achieve the same, knowing that fatigue will be greater due to the wearout of the game the day before with the Olivais."
