After interviewing the male team's main coach, the CAB's Official Site gives the floor to João Pedro Vieira, coach and leader of the women's team. At a time when LFB enters a decisive stage, João Pedro Vieira echoes the determination and motivation of the Friends, who, with clearly defined objectives, do not disarm or rest in the search for their materialization. Have we seen the best in the CAB this time of year? Our team has all the conditions to always show the best CAB every weekend. Let's hope the best is still to come. That is my conviction. What's the motivation of this team? Our motivation is to win. We always want more. Every day we work to be better than the day before. What is the motivation of the coaches? Our motivation is also to win. We are always looking for strategies to be better today than we were before or until now. What's the strength of the group? It's exactly the group. Are there any players who deserve special? EVERYONE has a key role in the success of our team, since those who hardly play to those who play many minutes. Is the team comfortable with success? No, not that. The day we settle in, we stop evolving. How does it feel to possibly compete for the final stage of the championship in its home country? First, to compete in the final phase it is necessary to eliminate an excellent and combative team of Coimbra Olivais. Then and when that happens, as I hope so, the possibility of being national champion in the Azores is something very special to me. What does the team need to do to be a national champion? Continue to function as a true GROUP. If each member of the group continues to do his job as best he can and knows for the team, I am very confident that we can win this League. How do you predict the upcoming games with Olivais? They will be very tactical games, as always happens in the playoffs. We can't make this easy for a second. Olivais is a team that never gives up, with players that at any moment can unbalance and we have to be prepared for everything. On the 11th of April, at 7:30 p.m., we have a great chance of ensuring our passage to the final phase of the Women's League, and because it might be our last home game this season, it would be very nice to have a full CAB Pavilion as in the last edition of the Portuguese Cup. So come out! We really want to win and the audience's help is crucial.
