The women's CAB team will be in great activity at the III CAB Cup. In three days, João Pedro Vieira will play four games against teams with competitive experiences that are quite different from those of Madeira. On Thursday, the CAB will measure forces with the CREF Hola, the First Spanish League (20:15) and, on Friday, the Friends will face Ciudad de los Adelantados (18:45). On Saturday is a double day, with the CAB facing Midnight Madness (11 a.m.) and Gran Canaria (18 a.m.), also coming from the main ranks of the neighbouring country. On the eve of what appears to be a major basketball tournament, the CAB Official Site asked the female team coach to make some comments to the test. Here's your words: "This pre-season tournament aims to prepare our team for the Super Cup and the start of a season where our main goal is to win the League. The fact that we play with teams with budgets that are much higher than ours and theoretically stronger is excellent for us to understand what aspects to improve." "Finally, this tournament also serves to observe and integrate the new players of the team in competition. This type of contact with teams from other countries is always good and since we do not have the financial conditions to compete in European competitions, even though we have determined to do so. This is a good opportunity."
