The Administration of SAD confirmed to the CAB Official Site the hiring of Michael L'Africain. The player has Canadian nationality and acts in the base position. L'Africain is 23 years old and comes from the University of Ottawa, Canada, where he graduated in Communication. The five-foot-high player will serve his first season as a professional. Last season, L'Africain recorded averages of 20.4 points and 5.3 assists in 31.4 minutes of use per game. It also recorded a percentage of 41.8% in the three-point and 85.9% in free launches, being elected 'Player of the Year' of the Canadian University Championship. The benefits he accumulated in the service of the university team gave him a prominent place in the history of Ottawa Gee-Gees basketball, as he is the player with the most assists made throughout his career (406) and the fourth best in terms of scoring points (1,272).
