Games, competition, fun and... hippies

The fourth day of the CAB Tournament was that which counted on the realization of more games. A total of 18 matches were held, i.e. six rounds of three games, three of which were held in the morning and three in the afternoon. In the first round of the morning, all the games were female sub-14s. In the games played, Sanjoanense defeated Ovarense by 42-26, Victoria won Barcelos by 40-21, and Valongo won ESA by 54-48. In the second round of matches, in the sub-16 female league, the CAB was superior to the SIMECQ by 51-19 and the Valongo won the Club 5 Basketball by 64-22. In the sub-20 male ranks, the CAB won the SIMECQ by 51-19. The last round of games held before the lunch break, in the sub-16 men's class, the CAB won the Valongo by 33-67, while in sub-19 women, the CAB was also superior to the Valongo by 64-50. In sub-14 males, ADRAP and SIMECQ measured strength, with the victory to be of the continental by 29-42. After lunch, there was a return to the games for the three rounds of afternoon matches. The first journey was again entirely dedicated to the sub-14 female ranks. Thus, the CAB won the Victory by 72-26, Sanjoanense won the Valongo by 42-24 and Barcelos led to the best over SIMECQ by 36-23. On the second day, in the sub-16 female league, Barcelos won Tavira by 42-26 and the CAB won Club 5 Basketball by 20-67. Already in the sub-20 male ranks, SIMECQ and Valongo measured strength, with the victory hanging for the boys of the Broken Cross by 76-32. In the third, and last, round of games, GBA won the SIMECQ by 59-39, in the sub-16 male ranks, while in the sub-19 female ranks, Lombos was superior to Valongo by 49-28. In sub-14 males, the CAB won the SIMECQ by 16-87. After the games, the teams had dinner in the school cafeteria that flanks the CAB Pavilion, and, after the meals, it was party time! While the coaches gathered in a convivial and healthy conversation about basketball, the athletes had a great time at a Hippie Party prepared by the Tournament Organization. It was a very fun evening and well spent! Tomorrow, the CAB Tournament returns with another 18 games. It will be the last before, on Saturday, the finals are held and the great winners of the 19th edition of the CAB Tournament are determined.
