Young player follows steps of Madeiran talent on the Women's Team

Carolina Henriques will deliver the squad of the women's team that will participate in the 2016-2017 edition of the Women's League. The young player, formed in the young layers of Friends of the Basketball, will train under the guidance of coach João Freitas, trying to assert herself at the highest level of female basketball Madeira. The 'Henriques', as is affectionately called by teammates, is known as a talented young woman with great work ability. In addition to her sporting skills, Carolina is also a good student who already goes to her second year at the university, proving that, when there is a desire, it is possible to reconcile the practice of basketball with the studies. The integration of Carolina Henriques into the senior team confirms a long tradition of the CAB, especially its female plants, which is the presence of a large number of Madeirans formed at the club in the squad that competes for the League. At the present time, in addition to Carolina Henriques, Madeirans Cíntia França, Catarina Freitas, Marta Bravo and Vitória Pacheco are also part of the team.
