The draw of the games for the regular phase of LPB was held on 30 July. The lucky balls dictated that, on the inaugural journey, the CAB will travel to the north of the country, in a trip to the always difficult camp of the Ovarense. The home premiere will take place on the next day, in a game before Oliveirense, a team that has recently returned to the top level of male basketball and will not make life easy for Friends. Highlight also for the fourth and seventh days, in which the CAB will receive, respectively, the formations of Benfica and Guimarães, finalists of the playoffs of the last season. The CAB's Official Website reached Juca, coach of the male team, and asked him to comment on the draw for the games. Here we record your words: "He told LPB's draw that our team would start the championship against Ovarense, in Ovar, club with a huge tradition in this modality and that it has in its curriculum a set of trophies that prove its strength in the modality. We would like to start playing in front of our partners and supporters, yet we will certainly be prepared to debut in the best way by adding up a victory that will happen before a strong opponent and, even so, will function as motivation for the rest of the competition." The season will be a hard test for Friends, who begin, with the duo Juca and Carlos Sousa a new cycle, but also a new model of male team formation. As for the challenges ahead, the Tecino of Friends of the Basketball responds with confidence, noting, "We are preparing the team to achieve a good attitude in all competitions, according to our goals, especially at LPB. We have to adapt to the natural conditions of the championship, overcoming any difficulties that arise according to the sequence of teams that dictates this draw. In this sense, I understand that the structuring that defines the calendar itself does not present itself with less or more difficulty to our team. We will know how to analyze and prepare each of the stages according to the likely difficulty that each of the teams will pose to us." As far as the objectives for the time are concerned, the helmsman of the CAB points a clear course and makes an appeal to the sympathizers to make the real 'Hell of Nazareth' in the CAB Pavilion. In his words, "We leave with the ambition to ensure the presence in the high points of all competitions. We want to create a mobilizing climate for our supporters around the team, in constant and unconditional support, making our pavilion an environment that drives the team's collective motivation. We can all build a good time together."
