The CAB men's team confronted Lusitania in one more match to tell the Men's League. The Friends performed in the field without Jorge Coelho, the veteran pole and captain of the team, which plays an important squad in the sport structure of the squad, inside and outside the field. In addition to Jorge Coelho, Jodan Aaron was also limited due to a knee injury during the week and Jovonni Schuler, one of the most dynamic players in the League, was still recovering from a problem that affected his digestive system in recent days. Even so, the CAB entered the field with the ambition to win the match. However, the game began better for the visiting team, which successfully explored the defensive weaknesses that were evidenced by the men of the house. In the attack, the CAB was also demonstrating some inability to spin the ball and make good throw choices. All in all, the Lusitania built a punctual advantage and reached the end of the first time to win by 10-21. In time, the CAB took a long time to meet, and as such the Azoreans increased their advantage, which came to be 15 points. The house team seemed apathetic and unable to transpose into the field the strategy that had been prepared. Ninth Pedroso, unconformed, tried to bring life to the Madeirans and pull their teammates, who responded and managed to tie the marker of the second period (14-14). Even so, the advantage of 11 points that the visitors had built at the first point remained, with the interval arriving with the marker in 24-35. On the return of the locker rooms, the CAB athletes tried to react, but once again they denoted, too, a great inability to do what had been indicated for them to play. If it is true that the individual CAB talents were wide holes below their normal income, collectively, the Friends were not working either. Unsurprisingly, visitors won the third period by 17-25 and accumulated a global advantage on the 41-60 marker. In the fourth half, the allotment favorable to Lusitania did not change. The CAB had no weapons to turn the course of events and the Azoreans maintained the reins of the meeting. In the last few minutes of the meeting, the Friends still drew great will to avoid a breakthrough other than victory and did their best to honor the sweater they wear, but the afternoon ran frankly wrong, with defensive and offensive solutions not to find the necessary continuity. With merit, Lusitania preserved superiority and won the game by 62-76.
