The second day of the 18th edition of the CAB Tournament is already taking place, on a morning well filled with good basketball games, with emphasis on the superiority of Madeira's formations in the various duels fought with the continental teams. Thus, the first games of the day belonged to the sub-14 male ranks, with the Madeira CAB taking the best on the Gaia A FC, with enlightening 89-34. In this struggle, André Condesso was the highest notator in the “friends” with 22 points, while Miguel Lobo with 14, was the most productive in the five north. Still at this level, Francisco Franco also defeated SIMEQ by 88-37, being featured in the winners, André Freitas and Francisco Sousa, by noting 17 points. In the Lisbon formation, Afonso Marto with 14 points was the best. In the female sector, in sub-19, Quinta dos Lombos 'B' took the best over the team 'A' of the same club by 81-41. Carolina Oom was the most productive winner with 19 points, while Joana Santos scored 15 points. In the sub-14 echelon, the Madeirans of the Galomar defeated the Land Freguesia and Sobrado 43-23. Soraia Caires with 19 points was the service marker of the Caniço and Beatriz Carvalho team with 6 was the best in continental.
