On Friday, June 21st, the CAB Pavilion welcomes children from an educational establishment again. Continuing the work of promoting the modality, the CAB will provide a different morning to a group of twenty children from the School of São Martinho, in a true expression of proximity to the schools of the Region. Under the guidance of the Training Coordinators, the visiting students will learn more about the Club's facilities, visiting the various divisions of the Friends' headquarters, as well as the beautiful history of the CAB, filled with trophies and regional and national achievements. At the end of the visit, students will take part in some field exercises, which will test their basketball skills. For Francisco Gomes, president of the CAB, “This work of proximity to schools is very important and serves to affirm our motivation to be, increasingly, an institution facing society and aware of its educational responsibilities.” In conclusion, Francisco Gomes says, “I leave the invitation to all educational establishments that want to know our Club that visit us, because they will find only open doors and a lot of willingness to work together for the education of the younger classes.”
