The Board of Directors of the CAB, SAD, has just announced the hiring of JJ Richardson, a 23-year-old American pole and 2.04 meters high. In addition to considerable physical capacity, the new CAB player presents a very interesting mobility in the moves near the basket. In statements to the Official CAB Site, João Paulo Silva (‘Juca’), coach of Friends, noted, “Richardson is a player from the University of Houston, which is well referenced in the NCAA’s first division. Although their university averages have not been very high, we believe that the player has the ability to be very dominant in these areas. With this first experience outside the United States, it is your intention to launch a career in European basketball and we believe it will be in the CAB that this statement will begin.” The leader of the male team praises the basketball potential of the reinforcement of Friends, noting, “This hiring allows strengthening our inner game and forming a very cohesive and dynamic inner structure, ensuring greater freedom for our launchers.” Regarding the athlete, Juca himself highlights, “Richardson has as his main feature his ability to throw his back into the basket. It is very evolved at the level of footwork, thus allowing it to finish in areas near the basket. It is also a good medium-distance launcher, mainly because of its good mobility, and thus creates many difficulties for its defenders. I am confident that Richardson will contribute to our game being consistent and dynamic, and, from a good group cohesion, many joys can be guaranteed for CAB fans.”
