The CAB men's team confronted Barcelos' team outside the door. The game was the second of a double journey that began the day before, when the CAB measured forces with Porto in a game that, despite the defeat of the Madeirans, was much disputed, with the Friends showing great ambition and quality of play. In Barcelos, the game began best for the CAB team, which, with 4 minutes of play, led the merchant by 2-11. Those in the house responded with a partial of 10-0, and, with six minutes elapsed in the first half, had passed to the leadership by 12-11 and cancelled the best entrance of the Madeirans. Following a time-out requested by the CAB. The same allowed the Madeirans to stop all the offensive to be produced by the men of the house, but did not prevent the first half from ending with Barcelos leading by the minimum advantage (18-17). In the second half, the CAB tried early to regain control of the game. However, the will of the Friends was collapsing in the low levels of realization that the Madeirans were having in the launch chapter (only 39% in the first part of the meeting, against 50% in the house). Even so, the CAB did not disarm and, in the middle of the period, was ahead of the one marked 23-25. Until the interval, balance was the dominant score on the marker. The CAB continued to present itself very active and with a good collective sense, thus confirming the positive indications it had already revealed in the game the previous day. But on the other side of the field, Barcelos' training did not disarm and assert his defensive and offensive arguments. With 15 seconds to play, a triple of Barcelos gave the advantage to the house for 34-33, however there was still time for a ‘bomb’ of Fábio Lima at the sound of the whistle, which gave the CAB the advantage for 34-36 and sentenced the result with which the teams went to the locker rooms. On the return to the game, the CAB was keen to protect its advantage and strengthen its ascendant over those of the house. However, Friends continued to fail more than they wanted in the releases made, a factor well enjoyed by Barcelos to continue in the race. In the middle of the third half, a 5-0 share of the house gave them the advantage by 44-41, which forced the Madeiran bank to ask for a time discount. The Madeiran response was delayed to emerge, and two minutes later, the Northmen's advantage had risen to the 5 points (50-45), a factor that was rewarding their greatest accuracy in the time of throwing to the basket (50% of achievement at the end of the third period, against 48% of the CAB). In the second 5 minutes of the third half, the CAB managed to more effectively cover the way to its guard basket and benefited from several inspired actions of the pole George Blakeney, which proved more active in the offensive tasks and put the CAB ahead for 50-52 when only 2 minutes before the end of the period. Barcelos's response was counterbalanced with baskets from Fábio Lima and DeAndre Mays, bringing the marker to 55-59 at the end of the third period. The last 10 minutes of the game began with Barcelos searching for the launch of 3 points the weapon to override the competitiveness of the CAB. It was essentially because of this that, after four minutes, the house had turned the marker and won a 65-63 leadership, which took the new CAB time discount. After the interruption, Barcelos did not slow down and the CAB's response did not appear in the desired force. In fact, those in the house continued to attack the opponent basket effectively, while the CAB, less defensively effective, saw the marker ‘shoot’ for 75-69, when only 3 minutes left to play. By the end of the game, the CAB did everything to cut the ascent of the house, but the Madeiran team paid for the facilities granted in defense, rather than what had happened in the third half. Barcelos also deserved it, which, only in the last time, managed to write 31 points, more than twice those noted by the CAB (15), rather than what had happened in the previous 3 periods, marked by great balance and even some Madeiran superiority (18-17, 16-19 and 21-23). The game ended Barcelos' victory by 86-74, a result that is accepted only by the ascendant that those of the house revealed in the last time. The CAB has again demonstrated a great spirit of struggle and left positive signs. Therefore, the Madeira team remains to continue to grow and transform this ascendant into victories, already in the phase of the competition that starts next weekend. In individual terms: DeAndre Mays (8), Fábio Lima (17), George Blakeney (11), Diogo Ventura (2), Stefan Popovski (17), Jovoni Shuler (9), Bruno Cavalcante (10).
