The women's CAB team went to Coimbra to face the formation of the Olivais. Friends did not expect any facilities because opponents are a very good and well trained team. Only the best CAB could win and the Madeirans knew it. But the game did not start in the best way for those commanded by João Freitas, who lost their first period by 17-14. In Madeirans, only Rosinho Rosário seemed to be at the best level, while the remaining team was clearly below what they know and can do. In the second period, the ‘best CAB’ appeared, not only in defense, but also in attack. The Amigas superiorized themselves to the formation of Coimbra in almost all aspects of the game, but with special emphasis on defense, because they were able to stop the main weapons of the opponents and reach the interval ahead by 23-33, an interesting advantage, but that prohibited the CAB from ‘sleep in the shadow of the banana tree’. In the third half, the CAB was again superior to the Olivais (by 16-17), but not as well as in the previous period. The defensive cohesion that the Friends had revealed in the second half was not so strong in the third period, but reached the end in the third half to win by 39-50. In the fourth half, Olivais did very well and not only managed to eliminate the disadvantage he had in the game, he also moved ahead of the meeting (56-55), when only three minutes left to play. Filipa Bernardeco's excess of absences, which until now was being marked the service of Madeirans, did not help the situation, but the CAB did not lower its arms and seek answers. Until the end, the two teams fought hard for victory and dignified the game and the modality. However, Olivais was superior and explored, with merit, the smallest hit that the CAB showed at the time of throwing to the basket and also some disattentions of the friends in the defensive aspect, winning the match by 72-68.
