Recognition of the 'News Diary' within the framework of ' MORE Awards 2014'

The CAB was elected 'Club of the Year 2014'. The award was awarded to the club at the awards ceremony of the 'More Awards', which took place last night at the 'Vespas' discotheque in Funchal. The initiative was the organization of the 'News Diary'. The conquest of the CAB follows a vote by the company 'Diário de Notícias' which took place via telephone and also via 'online'. The CAB was the most voted sports club, thus receiving the popular choice and recognition of the organizing institution of the initiative. In statements to the CAB Official Website, Francisco Gomes, president of the club, said: "I am happy for the award because it is the result of popular choice and it is a sign that Madeirans and Madeirans see in the CAB a sinnimous work and dedication that they think should exist in sports organizations. Above all, distinction is a stimulus for us to continue our journey and work with even more motivation."
