The women's CAB team received Sportiva in a game counting for the Women's League Regular Phase. Like all the games between these two formations, this was more of a high-pressure match and that could fall anywhere. The game started with a very strong entrance with the house. The CAB won the first period by 27-9, a result that is the result of the good collective dynamics that the Friends have placed in the field. The whole Madeiran assembly was doing very well, creating offensive imbalances that Sportiva could not contain. In defense, the Amigas annulled the main points of the Azoreans and dominated the caveats. In the second half, the game was more balanced, as proves the partial of 21-21 registered. The teams were forced to rotate in their initial fives, fruit essentially of the high pace to which the game was being played. Even so, both sets were from a great turnout to the game, which only exalted the show. At the interval, the CAB maintained its advantage in the marker, which marked 48-30. In the house, which were worth their team game, the best annotators were Britany Miller (14) and the trio of Aleighsa Welsh, Joana Lopes and Leonor Nunes (with 6 points each). In visitors, Wallace and Ivanovic (with 7 points each). In the third period the CAB was disastrous and proof of this is the 3-20 partial allowed by the Friends. The Madeirans showed much lack of understanding within the field and great passivity in the defensive chapter. From the bank of the CAB were not leaving answers and Sportiva had merit in making use of the situation, ending the period to be lost by only one point (51-50), to the surprise of all who were following the match. In the last period, continued the CAB's inability to play the basketball that can and knows. Sportiva not only tied the game but passed ahead and, with four minutes played, led by 51-60. Fear seemed to have taken hold of the Madeirans, who were paralyzed and unable to put in the field an effective playing wire. Friends were trying to get back in the game and move on to the marker, but they could no longer turn around the negative moment they had placed themselves. No surprise, for what (no) he did in the second part, the CAB ended up losing by 67-70 a game that, to say the least, had totally in hand, but from which he was defeated - on the merit of the opponent, too, but much on his own.
