The semi-finals of the Portuguese Cup in the Female are already known. The draw held this afternoon in Funchal, more precisely in the Hotel Baía Azul, determined that, in the first half-final, the CAB team will face the formation of the Sportive Union. This game will be held at 3pm on Saturday, 8 March. Already in the second half final, the Boa Viagem team will face the formation of AD Vagos. This game will also be held on 8 March, but this time at 5 p.m. The Cup final, which will place front-to-front the winning teams of the two final half-finals will be played on March 9, a Sunday, at 3pm. All games will be played in the CAB Pavilion. The draw was attended by Mário Saldanha, president of the Portuguese Basketball Federation, and also Sandra Rebolo, president of the Madeira Basketball Association, and Francisco Gomes, president of the CAB. Note that the ball of luck that determined the opponent of the CAB was removed by João Pedro Vieira, partner and ardent fan of the club, whose hand determined one of the pairings of the Final Four. The competition of the Portuguese Cup in the Female in Madeira marks the return of the Region to the route of the final stages of national basketball. This is the result of the Federation's assent to an application submitted by the Madeira Basketball Association and which will make the national basketball capital in Madeira on 8 and 9 March.
