Sub-14 continue good participation in the Lighthouse Tournament

The Second Day of the X International Tournament ‘The Lighthouse’ brought two more games to our Men’s Sub-14 Team. After, on the eve, they faced and defeated the Israeli team of Hapoel, the young Friends continued their successes, winning, in the morning, the formation of Esgueira by the result of 38-15. In the afternoon, the CAB measured forces with the Braga team, a formation with clear advantages of stature and physical power. Even so, our Initiates did everything to play ‘eye-to-eye’ with the Northmen, and at the end of the first period the marker was 10-16, in favor of the continentals. In the second half, there was practically a repetition of what had happened in the first half, with the training to be collected in the locker room with the departure in 20-32, still in favor of Braga. In the third half, the two teams tied to nine points, reaching the end of the third time with the result in 29-41, in favor of Braga. Even so, the CAB was better and demonstrated greater ability to counter the offensive arguments of continental players. In the last time, our team did everything to move forward and win the meeting, but the great delivery of our boys 'fell' almost always in Braga's greatest physical capacity, which ended up winning the match by 39-54. Regardless of the results, the CAB's Official Site commends the great commitment our team, and their coaches, are facing their participation in this international competition, a clear fruit of the seriousness with which they view the representation of the club and Madeira. We also remember the work of the Education Officers, who were fundamental for the team to live this experience and to whom the club thanks.
