CAB Sub-16 victorious against Sportiva

The CAB women's sub-16 team won the Sporting Union team from the Azores this morning. In a match that decided the third place of the National Cup of the echelon, the athletes commanded by Luisa Montes imposed themselves on the Azorean formation by the result of 26-78. The evolution of the marker was as follows: 7-31 (1p), 19-50 (2p), 22-66 (3p) and 26-78 (final). Despite yesterday's defeat against Valongo, a team with a very consistent course in the competitions played throughout the year, the Amigas demonstrated yesterday and today that they are a very united group with already very interesting knowledge of basketball. The team no doubt denoted a lack of competition, which is normal since, throughout the year, the Friends were included in the regional championships of sub-14 and sub-16 males for lack of teams of their rank and gender against whom to play. Even so, coach Luisa Montes instilled in the group a strong sense of work, and, along with the help of those in charge of education, did everything to deepen the training process of athletes. No doubt the group leaves good indications and guarantees that next year it will be even more competitive and ambitious. We believe!
