The women's CAB team received the formation of Torres Novas in a match counting for the 8th Women's League journey. The Madeirans approached the match with great seriousness and respect for the opponent, who is conducting an interesting campaign in this year's edition of LFB. Torres Novas also entered the field with the clear intention of surprising the CAB and leaving Madeira with victory. The first period was marked by the balance between the two teams, but with a slight upward of the CAB. Proof of that is the fact that the house team won the first 10 minutes, but by the result of 25-22. On the CAB side, the emphasis was on collective gambling, exploring the superiority that the Friends had in the areas near the basket. In the visitors, the bet was on the outside launch, taking advantage of the high rates of use Torres Novas was having at the meeting. In the second period, the victory returned to the CAB, ams only for the partial of 19-18. Friends had some difficulty adapting to the area defence assembled by visitors in order to better defend the interior areas, which was where the CAB was registering the maria of its points. However, after some adjustments, the Friends managed to re-invoic and secure their domain in the game, reaching the break ahead by 44-40. In the third period, the CAB entered determined to win the reins of the game and presented a truly demolishing performance. The CAB not only won the partial (20-6), but built an interesting point difference from the opponent. At this stage of the meeting, once again, the merit of the CAB was in its collective provision, as well as in the aggressive defense of the Madeirans, which annulled the main offensive solutions of the opponents. In the fourth period, the CAB was not so intense, but it protected well the advantage it had gained. The Torres Novas still tried to bother the CAB, betting again on the outside shot, but the defense of the CAB avoided any dangerous approach and confirmed the victory of the house by 82-65.
